When Children Do Real Science
In an article in Saturday’s Guardian {“Children don’t need Brain Gym to spot nonsense”), Ben Goldacre discusses some recent examples of young students who don’t merely spot bunk, they write about it. One of these concerns an education “system” called Brain Gym. It is a popular program in the UK that purports to improve children’s academic performance and is used in many schools there.
